Moen YB2864CH Chrome bath light

As always with Moen products this one didn't let us down. The finish is outstanding along with the build quality coupled with ease of installation what more could you ask for. I think a frosted swirl globe option would have been nice but other then that we are extremely happy with it. Lights look great with 60watt equivalent GE Stick LED bulbs. I did have to pull the mounting disk back off a few times to change how far the mounting screws were threaded in. I don't know if it was a mistake at the Moen factory in sending the exterior brushed nickel beeded nuts on the longer screws instead of the shorter ones or the horrible remodel job the company did on my fiances bathroom in 2004 with having the electrical box recessed too far in the wall but with installing the screws that the nuts can pre threaded on the screws ended up sticking out way to far so the nuts couldn't screw down all the way and the other screws were too short to use in that location. I assume the shorter screws were the intended screws to be used with actually mounting the light to the wall but with the box being recessed too far in the wall the screws weren't long enough to attach the light to the box/mounting ring assembly. Normally lighting and ceiling fans use the longer screws to attach the mounting bracket to the box and as mentioned I'm sure that was Moen's intention but with having the beaded fastening nuts already threaded onto the longer screws it's hard to say. Can't wait to install the last piece of the puzzle....The complimenting Eva Faucet!
