Better than clay litter

I like this litter a lot and I love the crystal litter I believe that if I had just one or two cats it would be excellent but I have 5 and it is so much better than the clay litter not as much scooping and the poop is freeze dried and comes right out and I just mix it with the scoop and the pee goes away. Now it is expensive so what I've been doing for a while is mixing this about a third of a bag with a half a bag per litter box with the Walmart brand of crystal litter and with five cats it lasts about a week and a half. Oh and I don't care what the other brands say about odor control you can smell pee so far I have not with this we had the cats on a trip from El Paso to California with one litter box and of course people seem to have never have seen a cat ride in a car before let alone 5 and no one could smell the litter box in the back! That should prove it!

Glad I tried crystals

This litter is great and unbelievably worth every penny. I have 2 hairless cats (sphinx) and its really wonderful how clean they stay now. i wish it would clump the urine but it doesn't. There is absolutely no odor even into 3rd week. i scoop every couple days and am very happy with the litter. One 8lb bag is good for 2 lit box and 30days. i start to add fresh about the 3rd week bc scooping has decreased amount.

A bit pricey, but worth it.

This product works very well at containing litter box odors especially for urine - there is no “cats live here” smell. There is no dust, but very occasionally there are random blue crystals here and there, but I'm fine with that trade off. The only negative I can think of is the price. When we first started using Fresh Step Crystals it was around $18 for an 8 pound bag, now it's $25 per bag. However, recently Walmart offered a discount if you purchased four bags which came out to about $20 per 8 pound bag with free shipping - I don't think you could find a better deal!
