Delivery or in-person makes a difference.

Lettuce be honest. If you buy it in-person you can see if you picked up a"bad one". But as I keep on saying, the delivery order filler person is not "you". Did they see the rust? If they did. Does it mean "anything" to them? Quality control in produce is a special need! Secret shoppers need to be a part of the system! There are far more "food lodites" than "foodies" in our shared reality. Don't blame the order filler. Blame the produce department management! When I get it in "decent" or "better" condition. It is a great option, and that is why I still order it. Nearly forgot. LOL

Less of a Good Thing

What's not to like about romaine lettuce? I HAVE noticed that these romaine hearts have been scalped pretty close as if the leaves on the heart are removed more than they used to be. My guess is that they are being used is salad mixes. It makes me angry.
