Product details
Developed to provide complete protection of all cooling system components, Shell Rotella ELC Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant (Concentrate) is a carboxylate based coolant for heavy duty diesel, gasoline, and natural gas powered engines. The inhibitors in Shell Rotella ELC are designed to go 600,000 miles on-road or 12,000 hours off-road. Featuring excellent heat transfer and pitting protection for wet sleeve cylinder liners, it also works to reduce hard water scale and overall coolant and coolant component maintenance. It requires no traditional ELC Extender or supplemental coolant additive (SCA) additions and contains no silicate borate, nitrate or phosphate. Shell Rotella ELC has excellent, long-term corrosion protection of all cooling system metals including aluminum, brass, cast iron, steel, solder, and copper. fabulous ELC gasoline / diesel concentrate
wonderful world class, Shell group (Pennzoil Quaker State Wolf's Head Shell) high quality red color extended drain concentrate. Nitrate-free formula means it can go 600k miles cars 1.2 million trailers. (No need for SCA (supplemental coolant additives). Able to get -90° freezing/ 277° boiling protection with an ideal 70% concentration. so hood. it will work with tap water if distilled water not available. i recommend gasing out the chlorine from your tap water two days prior to coolant change (cap off of some tap water-filled jugs needed for your final mix) bonus tech tip: if your coolant cap does not hiss when slightly opening with a thick rag %26 caution, then it is defective as it does not hold proper pressure and lowers your protection. change your cap every 100k miles or 10 years

Best coolant I could find for my 1999 F-250. Doing a complete flush out and replacement as required. Best price by ordering online. All four jugs came each sealed in a plastic bag with no leaking.

I did a bunch of reading on what was right for my 6.0L Power Stroke (this is a finicky engine when it comes to coolants) , this seems to be what one needs. I will write more when I rack up the 600,000 mi it's supposed to last ;-) I like the price and looks like it is good quality
