Fresh Butter Lettuce, Each

Used to be consistently decent, but lately it's too hit or miss and they're always low in stock or unavailable besides. When I do manage to get 2 live heads delivered at a time, one can be plump, dense, thick enough for 2-3 salads, and worth the spend. The other one is almost always light, sparse, and too pathetic even for one small salad. And they oftentimes arrive with a few limp, browning leaves so you have to eat them fast before it spreads… defeating their whole purpose of staying alive a bit longer between grocery shops for fresh veggies! I'm going to start getting my lettuce heads in-person elsewhere.

I love this product and that it is fresh local produce. Unfortunately two out of the three times I have purchased it, I have had to throw half away due to freezer burn. I think maybe it's case or where they are storing it for home delivery could be the problem. I know it came from the store that way as I checked it when it arrived.
