Frabill Torpedo Minnow Trap, Mesh, Black

We bought minnow trap to capture a water moccasin snake living in our pond. With a six year old child living here we could not allow the snake to continue living there; much less a predator continuing to eat our fish. Within two days of putting the minnow trap in the pond and after the trap snared a couple of minnows the snake couldn't help but get snared itself. Objective accomplished. I got this trap as an early Easter present from my parents, and i tried crackers for the first two days with no luck. So i tossed in a hotdog and threw it in an overflow area in my creek. The next day i got 3 baby chubs and 2 baby sunfish. The trap is a lot bigger then you might imagine, larger then a football, and the holes to enter the trap are fairly big to so i get minnows normally around 2 inches long which is pretty good since I expected the trap to be tiny and to catch little 3 cm long fish. The trap is very sturdy and easy to take apart and put back together, it has a rust proof plastic around all the metal which is an added bonus. I would recommend this to anyone who fells like catching minnows. My purpose was to put them in a new pond I hand dug. Overall it is an excellent trap and it is extremely affordable while keeping sturdy quality.
