It is made from sterling silver so you don't get that cheap metal scent and feel after wearing it for awhile. With so many amethysts, it sparkles whenever you go. The length is perfect to show off, and it sits comfortably without being too heavy around your neck. Wear it dressing up or down. I feel this is an heirloom for years to come. I love beautiful treasures.
