lets be frank: you either like this concoction or you dont. i do but then again i grew up with it on nearly a bi-monthly rotation because my military dad *loved* this stuff. over toast. over biscuits. over baked potato. over mashed potato. is it tasty: ye-es (though some might think it a little too salty) texture: ...its a gravy with bits of sliced deli meat in it; its a gravy texture. cmon. why did i rank it thusly: because this item is seemingly disappearing from shelves and my retired military dad is disgruntled about it.

This is an excellent meal - for those times - when you just do NOT want to cook. Simply follow package directions for heating......put over torn bread pieces. I always have cherry tomatoes (cut in half) - on the side. Taste compliments each other. This would be great - for any time of day.....whether breakfast/lunch/dinner. I try to always have this on hand..

Ever since it was decided to no longer sell dried beef in the packages, this is my go to (plus a little salt and pepper). Tried others. Yuck! This is fairly close to my homemade. Hope it stays on their production list. A nice meal any time of the day. :)
