Moen Wynford Oil Rubbed Bronze One-Handle Bathroom Faucet

I purchased two of these for our master bathroom renovation. I was hesitant to order a single unit such as this, but have grown tired of cleaning around two handles and a separate faucet which we have always had. Wasn't sure if this would hold its own or look lost by our sinks. I didn't have to worry. We purchased the high arc style and they are just beautiful. They are simple and elegant in their design and would work almost anywhere. Adjusting to one handle has not been an issue. Love the simplicity and ease of cleaning.

The previous faucet installed was a very old Moen model, an early Adler . It worked OK, but I was wanting something better. I kept an eye out and managed to score a Wynford 4500 that was open box. When received I was so amazed at how heavy it is. Seriously solid build. I decided to forgo installing the included drain stopper and did just the faucet. It was very easy to do. The hardware provided is excellent quality, robust & strong. Installation took me less than 30 minutes. The faucet lever is so very smooth! It feels like the kind of faucet you'd find in a multi-million dollar mansion. It is firm but gives excellent control to achieve the desired flow. My only gripe is that below a certain flow, the aerator is a bit noisy. I don't know if there's any adjustment possible with this. The chrome treatment is excellent quality, no defects--completely smooth. Chrome is of course a magnet for finger prints and water drops... so I keep a microfiber cloth nearby to wipe it down, to keep it looking sharp.
