Simple Solution 6-Layer Premium Dog Pads, 23" x 24" - 50 Count

The Simple Solution Dog Pads were hand delivered to me by the UPS driver. The product box weighs about 12 lbs and was not put in a separate shipping box. The top of the product box was ripped and slightly smashed on the side (see photo). Inside the box the pads are folded neatly and placed in a nice heavy duty clear plastic covering so none of the pads were damaged during shipping. The box and pads do have a very strong lavender scent, once placed on the desired area the smell does fade in time. I have a large senior male dog that doesn't mind the scent. Sometimes especially at night or if I'm away for several hours during the day he can't hold his urine. These are great right by his dog bed I place 2 pads down one on top of each other the full urine is captured by the entire pads, no stains on the flooring. If it is raining, snowing or just to cold he refuses to go outside to do his business so in the garage is his spot for those days; I just pick up the pads and throw them away and no lingering urine odor. They might be a little overwhelming if you or your pet is sensitive to perfume fragrances. These pads can be purchased with or without a fragrance. They also come in different sizes for all pet owners needs, these pads are 23" X 24". The pads are made with natural and synthetic materials 6 layers that are quilted together for maximum strength and absorbency. One of the layers is called InstaShield Technology which has polymers that turn liquid into gel. The bottom layer has a super strong plastic backing that helps hold and prevent the pad from moving or shifting when it is being used by the pet. Other uses for these pads line the kitty litter box to keep the urine smell to a minimum. You can cover your car seats when traveling with your pet to keep your car smelling fresh. Even though these pads are made in China they are a great quality product that hold up to their absorbent claim.

I have used various dog pads for years. Some are good, some are ok and others aren't good at all. The major issue I have had is with pads that are too small. I haven't had a dog for a few years now but I have a ton of cats. Cats are cool but they do make messes, missing the cat box or knocking the litter out. These dog pads are great. I put them under the cat boxes to catch whatever comes out that shouldn't and they keep the floor dry as well. These Simple Solution pads are great. They are a good size (23x 24) and the quilted texture ads to their ability to absorb water. The lavender scent is a tad too strong for me but will nicely cover those nasty oders. Supposedly these will absorb up to 10 cups of liquid. I also use these pads for household cleanup. Over all I am very happy with these and would recommend them to anyone with a dog (or cat).
