I just got these...I am pleasantly surprised and actually considering getting one more for the price. They are really nice, seem sturdy enough and most importantly for me, firm on the back. I can see they are may be challenged outdoors which is where I had hoped to use the. I will be careful about uneven ground because the braces seem thinner but I have to remind myself of the price. That said, it is a lot, I come from a time that good cot cost 25 dollars so double the price is not in book a bargain, but relative to some prices I have been seeing I am happy. They are not as light as aluminum ones and there are openings that water can enter...morning dampness will take a toll where I live. I had hope to use them for an afternoon nap or in a tent or to take to the lake for side to the picnic table. Not sure if they are that durable..but I will see. I would recommend them for inside in a flash. But fingers crossed they can handle outside...a deck would be great but I don't have one of those
