Its not good for heavy items. I don't have a car. If you have to use for groceries this isn't the cart for you. Works great for laundry items. Good for if you only need LIGHT items. Mine broke after two trips to the grocery store. Like I said I don't have a car grocery store is theee blocks away. I only put three six packs of 16 oz bottles and broke after two trips. When I was using for laundry which is in my building work great.
