Every joint leaked. Go with a different brand.
I used Great Blue Pipe Joint Compound to install a house water filter system and new main water shutoff. Every single joint leaked. PVC to brass, brass to copper, brass to brass…all of them leaked. Resorted back to PTFE tape and added some of this on top for bonus. No leaks. I've used other brands of blue thread sealant without any problems. This is surprisingly garbage for an Oatey product. When I pulled the joints apart it seemed like all the material drags away and doesn't “adhere” to the pipe. Maybe it would have been ok after setting up a while but who has time for that. I did let one joint sit over night.
