This Mityvac Fluid Excavator is a nicely built piece of kit. I like the fact the hand pump is metal. This piece of equipment makes oil changes much easier and cleaner (no spills). The unit is simple to operate. Select the vacuum position, and pump the unit a few times and let the unit do what it was designed to do----fluid evacuation. No more crawling under vehicles with a fluid pan and risking spills! Michael

Works great, just changed the oil on my car and sucked out all 8 1/2 qts., emptied the oil pan. A little slower than draining but no mess at all, never even had to wipe off my hands. And don't have to jack up the car and crawl underneath. Well worth it.

I just got my mityvac,I purchased this to change the oil in my home standby generator,it removed the oil with no issues.I did run generator for five minutes before trying it.Because the top of generator is bolted down putting oil back in would have been a problem since there is only a few inches between top cover and filler hole on engine. The mityvac MV7201 also refills the engine with ease.
