What Happened?????

We've always been a fan of Cheez-It Original crackers..... until the last few months. The taste and texture have both been altered. Less salt and a less cheesy flavor. We tried the New Cheezier flavor and discovered they were basically Original crackers coated in.... a Cheeto-like dust. Blech! The texture of the Original cracker has become less firm and crispy. A good quarter of the volume in the box are crumbly, broken bits. Time to go back to the old recipe, please.

Good snack but did the recipe change?

Cheez Its have been my favorite snack for years but the two most recent boxes I have purchased are not as salty as they should be. Many of the individual pieces have no salt baked onto the exterior at all. The saltiness is the best part of the Cheez IT, IMO, so this is disappointing.

Recipe definately changed, no matter what they say

Cheez its used to be good. They would get eaten in a matter of 2 days and that's the big box. Now they don't taste the same. As someone else here stated, the no name cheez-it style crackers taste more like the way cheez-its used to taste than the cheez-its today. I am baffled by how companies change things, trying to squeeze an extra penny out and think that no one will notice or were too stupid to notice. Well, we do notice and from the looks of it there's a lot of customers you're losing including myself. I won't pay the price you're charging for something that does not even taste as good as it should or the way it used to taste. Just stop it. I am sadly giving up cheez'its. I don't like them anymore.
