WITHINGS BPM Connect - Tensiometer, clinically validated, blood pressure, arm measure, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth sync

The Withings BPM Connect by itself is a fine device. I greatly enjoy the convenience of having the ability to take my blood pressure with a device mounted solely on my upper arm. No dangling tubes or separate cuff and monitor. This unit is small enough to wear to the gym to see if your BP is getting out of bounds while exercising. I am recovering from a heart attack so that information is important to me and my heath providers. What I personally found a downside was the manual supplied on recycled brown paper and very small print. I would think most purchasers of this product are in the age bracket needing a readable manual readable without a magnifying glass. The setup of the device also requires the downloading of an app to your phone that receives your BP data. While it is a good feature to have that data available to present to your health care providers I personally view it an invasion of privacy to have my BP readings sent via my WiFi connection to Wthings regardless of their privacy policy. I found no settings that limited to setup to just the Blue Tooth connection to your phone.
