Water residuals from filtered water

Panasonic Electronic Water Pot! See pictures and Share to your friends and Family! Panasonic representative said it is water residuals. I just used it for 1year+. And I can't believe the residual from filtered water is so disgusting. After boiled with lemon, most of the black substance (water residual?!) is off, but still can see those tough black stains around the bottom. Anyway, I will not use it anymore.
