I prefer the interior of my microwaves to be white. I have owned this brand and model previously and it performed well for 9 years. It was white instead of the dark gray iside. I want to be able toe SEE splattered food so I can clean it off. Splatters are nigh on to impossible to see on dark grey background so I hope you go back to the white enamel interior on future models. Although I understand WHY their are new laws requiring a locking door, I find it a pain in the patookas to have to unlock to view, stir or check food. And I wish the lock feature icon were more visible and on a touch key all by itself! I can barely SEE the little lock symbol!

The directions are a little hard to read. My other Panasonic was a lot easier to use.. This one in order to get to the delicate defrost. You have to keep pushing buttons so many times to hear a beep for so many pounds. I just want to take chill off something. Can't figure this one out. I guess it not for a 75 year old. It would be great for a younger person. I'm sure they would figure it out real quick. Thank you for reading

This model is top rated and moderately priced, and I prefer Panasonic microwaves. It has performed flawlessly so far. I don't like the Child Lock feature; extra button to push and the lock is loud. The touch panel characters are small on a black background, not backlit, and are difficult to read. These are minor complaints for a quality appliance.
