Skilled technicians use a centuries-old method to hot-drop forge scissors and shears from high carbon cutlery steel. Key grinding and polishing give flawless appearance and sharpness, while hand-tuned tension points ensure longevity and high performance. Gingher offers sharpening and repair service for all Gingher brand products. Regrettably, we are not able to make this service available for other brands of scissors and shears due to differences in manufacturing and hardware.The sharpening and repair service normally takes between 3 - 4 weeks. Items sent in for repair will be restored to functionally new condition. It is not possible to restore the appearance to that of a new product. Perfect Sewing Scissors for any fabric project. I have used Wiss sewing shears for the past 50 years. These Gingher are remarkable. They are a little larger than what I am used to, so a bit of a learning curve. Very happy that these a extremely sharp. Solid piece of sewing shears. Now given a choice, I would perfer Gingher. OH! I also used a promo code %26 purchased them for only $24.99~what a steal!
