Performs Properly

We just bought some acreage and I am starting a good sized garden. I need an efficient watering system and am testing this one out. So far it is performing very well. It has great range and offers 8,500 square feet coverage. It is super easy to adjust (58 in). The tripod allows 360 decree rotation by tripping lever, this will allow the sprayer to go into a full circle. The dials are simple to use also. The tab under the sprinkler head will reverse direction, but you have to do this by hand to set it up. The tripod is light and aluminum, be sure to get it securely in the ground on all 3 legs. Gilmour placed iron posts inside to give it weight. The hose connection is plastic, so be careful not to overtighten, but don't worry, done properly will hold a good fit and I have had no water leakage. This is important to get good water pressure. This sprinkler functions exactly as I hoped it would and I plan to add more to my garden as it grows.

Makes watering easy, and fast!

I live on a corner lot, so for me, there's a little pressure to maintain my lawn and have it look nice. This sprinkler has really helped me start watering my lawn a little more regularly and much easier! I love that it has an adjustable tripod base (can be raised or lowered) and allows me to set how much of my lawn I want watered. The nozzle on top can also be adjusted for the amount of water stream that is sprayed, thus allowing for more or less water at a time. The best thing, IMO, about this sprinkler is the tripod base and the “feet” that stake into the ground to keep it from tipping over. I used to not be a fan of hand watering, but really had no choice and other sprinklers had to be moved to different sections every so often, but that is not the case at all with this Gilmour Pro! It is well made, easy to set up and take down in the yard, and not so large that it takes up too much room (I store mine on a shelf in the garage). I wasn't aware of this brand or this type of sprinkler, but will highly recommend from this point on!
