This stuff really does the trick. I'm a big fan of the sleak appearance and convenience of glass cook-tops, but once a pot boils over, it's like the burn stain becomes a part of the glass itself. Nothing short of "scrubbing" will get it up, but you don't want to leave scratches. [I don't know if it's simply the scrub-pad or the combination of that with the cream-like cleaning fluid in this kit, but this worked great; and now my cook-top is right back to shiny new.] Do yourself a favor and skip the online "home remedy" mixtures and tips - just buy this kit. You squirt a little cleaner directly on the cook-top, then scrub with the pad until you no longer feel that slight roughness on the glass. (I was afraid at first to go at it too vigorously, that it might scratch the glass, but it didn't. Don't stop scrubbing until the pad glides over the burned area as smoothly as the surrounding glass surface.) Done in minutes, burn marks have totally disappeared, and there's plenty left over in the kit for future cleanings!

I am persnickety when it comes to my black glass stove top. I find this product. Does a great job at keeping the glass shiny and looking good all the time.
