The outdoor plug works fine and looks like a quality product. It takes a few attempts to set up the wi-fi The software/device control needs major improvement. At this point, I can only figure out how to turn it off and on. I may need to do more exploring but can't figure out how to set up a schedule.

Need Instructions to setup without Apple Homekit

There should be instructions on how to set it up without using Apple Homekit app, because I am not using it with the 6 older devices I have. Even if I wanted to migrate to Apple Homekit, the older devices do not have the required codes. I found out how by Googling, but shouldn't have had to do that. Your app controls work fine, and the setup process without Homekit is easy - just gotta tell people how!

This product was not ready!

I had to factory reset the plug up 6 or 7 times to get it to work WITHIN the Wemo app. I have several Wemo plugs, switches and dimmers. This was a poor experience. I tried to dial support only to be on hold for 35 min without ever getting through.
