HAND WASH ONLY to avoid the “black stuff”

I'm leaving a review so I can address other people's reviews complaining about the “black stuff” that comes off their metal whip attachment. DO NOT wash the metal attachments in the dishwasher. The metal will oxidize and you will never be able to restore it to its original finish. Learned this the hard way. If you hand wash the attachment, you won't get the oxidation (black stuff).

Starts out great but replacing this whip every month or so

I am a licensed home baker so my whip is used often...normally not very hard. I am finding that the quality of the replacement whips are not like they used to be. I had the original whip for 10 years...now within the past 6 months I am having to replace them monthly as they break. Poor quality

Black stuff from the hub

Love my wire whip but hate the black stuff that gets all over you. Obviously this is not dishwasher safe. I am wanting to take to a plater and have it redone but need to know what it is made of before doing that. Do you plan to offer one for a bowl lift that will go in the dishwasher.
