I Love it!

I bought this for my daughters 2nd birthday. Putting it together took about 1 1/2 hours due to the stickers being hard to get just right. I suggest you have someone help you put the stickers on. While putting it together our daughter just thought it was another ride on car, until we showed her to push the button. Her face lit up like it was Christmas morning. When we got the box home the gearshift had been bent a little, but is still functional and I don't want to deal with sending it back it just b/c it doesn't look "pristine". We took the car outside but noticed our daughter was too light for the car to move. Shes 24lbs. So we had our middle child hop in with her and then there was enough weight shes 31lbs. So i would say at least 50lbs or so for the car to be able to move. If you only have one child I'd suggest getting a cement block wrapped in a towel and place it in the passenger seat. The speeds are perfect for the yard since it hasn't rained in awhile All-in-all, this car is perfect. My daughter may be a little short for it but it didn't stop her from tearing up the yard!

great car

we bought this for our three year old she loves it at first dad locked it on the lowest speed so she couldn't go very fast and kept getting stuck in the grass so he had to change it then it worked great in the bumpy grass even went great over small hills i just hope she learns how to steer really fast!

My 4 and 2-year old daughters love it!

Got it for my 4-year old's birthday. She has not stopped asking if she can ride it eversince she got it. Very easy to put it together. The only two things i wish it had were clip seatbelts instead of the velcro ones and better (actual rubber) tires, instead of the plastic ones. I'd even pay more to get the rubber tires. The 5mpg actually feels pretty fast for a car this size abd with the better tire i'm surs it would be much more comfortable ride (not that the kids care, they are having a blast anyway), but it would probably handle a lot better in grass, especially wet gras. The plastic tires spin in ine spot a lot when you floor it. But overall an AWESOME toy for the kids. 4-year old is picking up the driving pretty quickly, the 2-year old struggles to grasp the stepping on the pedal and stearing the wheel at the same time concept, but i'm sure she'll get it soon.
