My five month old really likes this chair. It helps her learn to sit up. For now she does need to be monitored in it since her neck muscles aren't fully developed. It's easier with two people to get the baby in and out of the chair. She really enjoys the play piano it comes with. Similar chairs were the same price and did not come with any learning toys. We also purchased the fisher price kick piano and was worried that it would be the same but was happy to discover that all the songs were different so now she has one piano she can keep at her grandparent's house. I would recommend this product to parents whose little one is outgrowing newborn seats but are too young to sit in a toddler chair. I just wouldn't leave the baby unattended in the chair without a monitor.
