You'll notice that the K&H Heated Bed may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. THIS IS NORMAL! Our products are designed to only warm when your pet is lying in the bed. You can test the pad by placing a large pillow on top of the bed. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. If you feel warmth, the product is working as designed. For use with 110/120 volt electrical current only.

All the walls are nicely padded as it the roof. I like that the top zippers open for cleaning. My cat sleeps in an insulated, but not heated garage in Montana. This bed is heated and cozy.

My 3 cats fight over this!
For me, I don't like the 'bed' part of this sleep house, as it seems stiff. The cats, however, all love it. I've had a lot of laughs, watching my kitties manipulate one another to gain possession -- it' very funny. I think the cats would give this five stars. I wish there was another larger size available, as two of mine commonly sleep together, and for whatever reason and unlike what they do the the K & H plush beds, do not cohabit in this. I have love all of my K & H products, as well made, with good fabrics. Thanks, K & H, for improving the quality of life for my three beloveds.
