Couldn't disassemble the faucet

I bought the kit, but I was unable to completely disassemble the faucet. I bought a new faucet that is identical to the one I bought the "O" rings for. I have been a maintenance mechanic all of my life, but I didn't want to damage the faucet trying to take it apart. We had used it for about 6 years, so I just replaced it.
