You can not knock the firestone firehawks. They out perform any tires I've owned so far. The dry traction and coring is unbelievable for such a inexpensive summer tire. Handles grateful In wet conditions to. The tread wear seems great, just track driving and spirited drives.

Best tire ever

Like others have said these tires are awesome. They are on my Redline that I push hard and they just stick. They give you confidence to do what you shouldn't and bail you out. I'm a snob about tires and am never happy with a tire overall except for this one. Now if the engineers will just leave it alone for years to come I won't have to go searching for a new/better one. This is the best one.

Still very surprised with the tire. I always go for the "cool looking" tire and this one actually performs as good as it looks. I live in an area where we get a good mix of all weather, exceeding expectations every time I rip a turn or launch off the line to beat the merge lane enemy.
