Final: The Rapture

.......i saw the film at Edwards theater....the movie is one of the most courageous films Ihave seen in a long time, one of the most daring. It's themes of religion are scary to anyone seeing it, on whichever side you are on....I do not really understand the ending, but this is a film that goes where rarely any films go, and should be seen by anyone. I am surprised I had never heard of it....I feel God led me to see this film....I almost missed it to watch a dumb soccer game! So really no matter how you feel about this movie, you'll still get intrigued by it. This is a great power that this movie has and the foremost reason why I actually ultimately ended up liking it, even though I didn't always understood what was going on exactly.

I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I really marveled at the epic scope of the movie, shot in all those countries, it was very impressive. The story and abilities are fantastic and grand but the character and depth add the weight you need to tell a believable yet intelligent tale. That's tough to do when the subject matter is this complex (Biblical) and the elements they deal with are so grandiose. The complexity, depth, heart, emotion and action are some of the best put together in any film this year. I have to agree with most of the film critics who are praising it and I'm glad it's getting the love at a high percentage. It would've been a shame for it not to be praised by the professionals. It really is professional, throw-back fun with heart and emotion.
