They work GREAT! DETAILS+INSTRUCTIONS!

These TEMPORARY "Float Level Sight Plugs" work great. Before buying realize 2 things, 1- Correct THREAD PITCH of your Carburetor! (750's, Dominator, Demon Quadrajet 5/8"- Holley 2300 (440 six pack) Stromberg, Thetmoquad 5/16" THREAD PITCH. CALL and ask details BEFORE ordering, Overtightening and or wrong threads WILL break them. 2. They're TEMPORARY!! No need to even thread them completely into bowl. They magnify the fuel level. GASOLINE MELTS PLASTIC. I've seen people leave these IN and go for a drive, NO NO! Set float level and PUT BRASS PLUGS BACK INTO CARB! I had a customer who dirt track races BURN his "thing" to the GROUND! Because? He left them in for a race. Realiy? Read the DIRECTIONS.

Need Better Threads

These worked for adjusting the float level, but the threads were not very precise. They screwed into the float bowls very tightly.

Don’t waste your money!

Bought the for a Holley 650 and wish I didn’t. I should have listened to the other reviews. They installed just fine, sat my float level and took the car for a test drive. The following day I noticed a broken piece of one laying on my garage floor. I popped the hood only to find that both had somehow broken off. I’m guess due to the expanding and contracting of the carb due to heat. The part that actually threads into the carb were floating around in the float bowls.
