Federal 595 RS-Pro Performance 265/40ZR18 101Y XL Passenger Tire

I purchased these for my 1975 Datsun 280z that I have setup for spirited driving and occasional autocross events. Coming from the Federal 595-RS RR tires, these 595 RS Pro tires are such an improvement. First off, the noise level is non existent compared to the RS RR's (which sounded like a fire truck was chasing me!). Otherwise, I feel like it's almost the same tire, has great grip, does okay in the rain, and they have a cool tread pattern as well. So far, these could be my favorite tires, just remember these tend to run a little larger than other tires in the same size. I originally had 245-40-17 RS RR and had occasional rubbing on the fenders. I downsized to 235-40-17 and now I don't rub, plus the difference in how easy the car is to steer (no power steering) is fantastic, the car feels so much easier to toss around and feels much more nimble.
