first of all i like stainless steel utensils. This 4 quart pot is good for making rotini pasta, mac & cheese, spaghetti, stews, soups, Indian liquid dals etc. I have used this pot before. I do not recommend any one to wash this in dishwasher, because the black handles looses their shine.
