Farberware 6-Piece Stamped Triple Rivet Stainless Steel Steak Knife Set in Black

Had similar stainless Farberware steak knives before. Liked those, so bought these to add more to the set (so I'd have more on hand between hand washing of my dishes). Like with anything stainless steel, you cannot leave to soak and should wipe dry after washing to prevent spots and rust. Yes, stainless steel will rust. I have an electric rotary wheel sharpener next to the knife block, because stainless is software. The grinder puts a hollow edge on the blade instead of a chisel edge. Chisel edges last longer, but hollow edges are sharper yet more prone to nicks and dulling. Like the full-tang design. I've had some that had a stub tang into the handle, and they break after awhile due to the high torque on the short stub tang. For the price, they are very good knives. I have another much more expensive forged set that have a thicker spline (back edge) to the blade, so they flex less than these stamped knives. If you realize these knives will have more flex, you'll be safer using them, and realize you should up to a larger blade instead of overworking a too-small blade.
