Sounds grrrrrrrreat!!

I was looking for a muffler to bring out that good hemi sound, but not too loud. Outside or inside the truck. After hours of research I decided to go with the Fowmaster FX. I definitely made the right choice! Sounds amazing, not to loud, but very noticeable. Installation was a breeze, about an hour with two people.

Easy install, aggressive and deep tone, some drone

I'll say of all the flowmasters I've installed this was probably the simplest I've experienced. Very good deep tone, aggressive but not overly. Reminds me of a 40 series, but without the chambered-sound. In 4cyl mode at freeway speeds there is a decent amount of drone but that's the price you have to pay to have it sounds good in V8 mode. Overall very happy and one of the best bang for the bucks. Oh, and the dual tailpipes 99% line up out back, which can't be said for every other kit out there.

I want to love it but...

First off i want to say this is a very beautiful piece and it fits perfect like you would expect from Flowmaster. The sound ...it definitely isnt the signature sound you would expect from Flowmaster. If you want something that has a mellow tone without the interior noise this is the muffler for you. If you want that 50 series bark that everyone loves take a pass on this and plumb in a 50 series.
