Hartz Ultra Guard Plus Topical Flea and Tick Prevention for Cats and Kittens 5lbs and over is a monthly treatment that rapidly eliminates fleas within 15 minutes. Kills fleas, Brown Dog and Deer Ticks, flea eggs and repels mosquitoes for 30 days. Features the patented Pro-cision Flo applicator system that penetrates pet hair allowing for application of treatment at skin level. The quick-drying formula stays on and does not rub off. The package contains 3 monthly applications.

Directions: Remove one applicator tube from package and hold in an upright position away from your face. Pull off cap. Turn the cap around and place on top of tube. Simply press cap down to break the seal of the tube and remove cap carefully. Position the tip of the tube at the base of the pet's back between the shoulder blades and squeeze out the entire contents of the tube to form a stripe as you move from the shoulder blades along the back to the base of the tail. The treated area may appear oily after application. Repeat every month. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged or medicated pets. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amount of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

I've used this product , on my cats now, for 20 years. I have tried other products in the past but I always return back to this product. This product is soon much better then those other high cost products . Hartz is lower priced, saves me money, works great against fleas and ticks, and it's safer on my pets. My cats do not break out on their skin like the other products did. Try this product on your cats. You won't regret it and your cats will be happier to.

It works great at getting rid of the fleas. A disclaimer on the back shows side effects of irritation with the cat which did occur. My cat was sneezing and irritated, had a runny nose and a bit of drooling but that stopped after about 30 minutes to an hour. She's perfectly fine and flea free!

Purrrfect for cats on a budget.
This product was a good product and it was a great value for your money. The only issue I really had with the product is that it was extremely runny which made my cat want to lick it when she would get it on her paws If cost is an issue when it comes to paying high dollar for other fkee and tick medication i would certainly recommend this product . I might also add that the product worked as good as any other product .
