Babies with head control can be worn outward facing and toddlers will enjoy a ride backpack-style! I would buy this again
I have received the Upscale Customizable Carrier from Infantino to facilitate my review, but I probably would have bought it anyways. My baby is 2 months old and wearing 9 month old clothes so its been hard to find a carrier that I can adjust to fit a new born and have the support she needs. I love this carrier. When I have cinched the seat for my baby in other carriers it makes the back too short for my tall baby and not very supportive. This carrier has a slide along the waist, you can button it in place for older babies or move it in closer together for smaller babies. That's my favorite feature. I did like the head support as well. It's not a hood but its high enough to support my tall baby's head. It folds down for carrying face out. The shoulder padding was ok, nothing spectacular. There is padding in the back which may make it hot in the summer. But overall a good product.
