This is effective in controlling hair. Feels a bit stiff, perhaps. I realize that the scent is intended to be unisex (and it is pungent) but I do in general enjoy the scents targeted at women more.

Nice lather, smells like natural essential oils. Has a very cooling and invigorating effect on the scalp. Hair is thicker and has more body when dry. Accompanying leave in conditioner is great to avoid frizz which is my issues with humidity and greying hair.

Effective conditioner with a pleasant fragrance

It does exactly what I want a leave-in conditioner to do: tames my fly-away hair while leaving it soft, silky, and shiny. There is no weighed-down or stiff feeling and I notice fewer knots when I brush. I see the brands I used in the past continue to add more chemicals while Mielle uses natural ingredients and does a much better job. The fragrance is amazing. I will not hesitate to buy more.
