It's an oil filter
What can I say, it's an oil filter. Been using these in my truck for years. I always tell people to spend your money on a better filter not name brand oil. I can't say how it performs out to 20,000 miles as I never go that long between oil changes. The filter is always in great shape when I change it out so I think it could easily go 20,000.
