Expert Grill Insulated Heat Resistant BBQ Gloves, Black

Most of these barbecue gloves that you will find in stores today do an adequate job of protecting you from the heat of the grill. None will allow you to stick your hands on the grill itself, nor should anyone want to do that in the first place. And these Expert Grill gloves are no different. They block heat for normal barbecue grilling usage just fine. What I like about these gloves is they do offer a bit more dexterity than some of the others I have tried. Some may be a little better at blocking heat, because they are thicker. But that thickness (which is unnecessary for most people's usage) comes with a price. And that is finger dexterity. Even though they have fingers, they often are more like oven mitts than gloves. But these Expert Grill gloves finds the right balance and does allow a bit more dexterity. No, you won't be picking pennies off a tiled floor while wearing these gloves. But they will help you pick up, and hold most barbecue utensils and sauce /spice bottles with ease. And I don't see where the average person would ever need more heat protection that these offer. I suppose if you are manning the grill at an all day church barbecue, then maybe the thicker gloves would come in handy. But otherwise, you can't go wrong with these.

I wanted these gloves for the Emeril LaGasse Air Fryer 360 that I have and love. I wanted something that would allow me to reach in for a basket or a casserole dish or even meat on the rotisserie and not burn myself pulling it out. These gloves absolutely do that. Tonight I reached in and pulled out the basket of potatoes and hot dogs and I felt no warmth at all through them. They are great.
