It's sturdy. They blade was sharp. Making breaking the ground easy. The handle was firm and easy to use, with a polished finish on it so that it will prevent you from getting splinters. So in a sense a bit safer. Balanced weight which made it very easy to handle. Could carry at least 30 to forty pounds of dirt, gravel or sand. Can also chop through any kind of soil, you just need a little elbow grease. If possible my request is you make more garden tools. It's not too heavy. Light enough for a woman like me not to struggle using it. Can't speak on its longevity as I haven't had it long enough. But initially seems like it may last for a while.
