Almost bought the multi-pack of these right away but wanted to try it out. Nice, lightweight. I know that I often forget where I have set a trowel down and find that it's sat out in the weather. Since this is all plastic, I won't have to worry about the wood handle rotting or the metal blade rusting.

Obviously nothing is perfect, but for less than a buck I said to heck with it and bought it. As a general little garden tool this Handle is sturdy and made with nice thick plastic which makes you feel better about the structural integrity when you go to dig. If you're on a TIGHT budget and need a quick trowel please get this. Rather than this I'd go metal if I'd had had a bit more of a budget.

Unexpected find!
this is one of those spur of the moment buys and i wasn't expecting to think much of it. however, the last 2 days of gardening i find myself going back to it and it's square shovel cousin. they are sturdy, lightweight and feel good in my hand. plus, they hold a lot of product and won't rust. i am going to order a couple of spares . i don't always have to have my heavy duty stainless tools for small jobs and this is great.
