Expert Gardener Lawn Food Fertilizer Plus 2% Iron, 33.6 lb. is designed to be used on any type grass. Covering 12,000 sq. ft., this is a high analysis fertilizer containing slow release nitrogen to give your lawn a vigorous green color. It is a safe formulation that will not burn your lawn when used as directed, yet it is long-lasting and will gradually continue to feed your lawn for as long as 3 months. Since it has a high nitrogen content, it goes much further than conventional fertilizers. Also formulated with 2% Iron for even deeper greening. You may apply anytime during your lawns active growing season and always ensure to apply evenly over dry grass. For best results water the product thoroughly with either rainfall or irrigation after application.

I've tried a lot of different fertilizers, liquid and granular but it only took me one application of Expert Gardener 30-0-4 and I was sold with the impressive results. The iron makes my lawn darker green and lush and the slow release nitrogen wont burn the grass.
