This bag of Expert Gardener potting soil eliminates the need to feed the potted plants for up to 6 months which exceeds the growing season for the vegetables I like. I have many seedlings that I transplant to larger pots, and I use this to give the plants an excellent start while I wait for the occurrence of the last frost. After the last frost I will move my tender young plants outdoors and into raised bed planter. This soil is easy to work with because it not clumped together. The information on the back of the bag addresses how much to use by container size as well as guidance about how to use it indoors, in planters and in bedding planting areas outdoors. The bag is easy to manage with 8 quarts of finely filtered soil in it. I think my newest seedlings will like this as much as I do.

I decided to have a porch garden. Being in a wheelchair, it seemed like a good idea. This product looked good. Started using about a month ago and now have vegetables growing already. Feeds perfectly. Retains moisture. I have bought several bags and will use nothing else.
