This Expert Gardener 2.5 quart Lithodora Grace Ward is a mat-forming evergreen shrub with trailing and spreading stems that are covered in dark green, hairy leaves. From late Spring through Summer these are covered with deep blue, star-shaped flowers. These are hardy, low maintenance perennial plants that require full sun and well-drained, acidic soil. In cool summer climates, full sun is best, but in hot summer climates afternoon shade is appreciated. These grow up to 6-12" in. tall and 2-3' ft. wide. Watering needs are average. This plant looks great as a bedding or border plant, as a groundcover, or in a container!
