Good battery lousy shipping practices

So far, the battery is fine..... But the shipping sux. The battery arrived in a box that was all torn up. The box was too big and it had no packing to protect the battery. It was a miracle that the battery survived shipment without having a cracked housing, broken terminals or acid leak. I am concerned about internal damage to the plates or connections. I hope the warranty is valid.....
