Very Good Battery, But Confusion Over Old Battery

Walmart's EverStart Platinum AGM battery provides ample power with a strong warranty that helps justify the cost. Note however that my purchase was online with a pick up at the store. When I then took back the old battery for credit, along with my online receipt, it was not accepted at the store. Customer service told me they could not process the refund, but I was never clear as to why.

If you bought your battery in a Walmart store, you could get the core fee refunded right away when you bring the old battery (the core) with you. If you didn’t have the core at the time, you can bring it back later with your receipt to get your refund. For batteries bought online, whether by delivery or curbside—the core fee will be refunded as a gift card after you return the old battery to the store. The store team can start the return using the returns tab, choose the non-receipted returns option, and then scan or enter this UPC: 19434621915. If the store has an issue please show them one of these reviews. We recommend returning cores from online orders at stores with an Auto Care Center, since they’re more familiar with the core return process and can help make it smoother. SM-Clarios

Everstart batteries are some of the best batteries

Ever start makes some of the best batteries. These come from Claritos the same guys that make Interstate batteries. Walmart delivery is useful for this item, used it when my car wouldn't start got my battery within 30 minutes. Still going strong. 3 stars for value for the money just because a value or plus would have worked just fine and saved me $100, but the warranty is worth it.
