Don't buy online!

The battery itself is fine. However, if you order online, you won't be able to get the cor refund. The auto department says they can't process the refund on an online order and customer service says they can't process anything auto related. If you care about the $12 cor refund, don't buy online!

Battery purchases placed on dotcom (delivery and curbside) will have core fee refunded with a gift card once battery cores are returned to the store. The store can start the return in the returns tab, use the non-receipted returns flow, and scan (if available) or enter the upc: 19434621915. It would be recommended to return cores from online purchases at a store with an Auto Center, as they are more familiar with the core return process.

Only thing didnt like is the Walmart Automotive section said they "Don't 'do' the Core Return" WHich is odd, I've brought back battery cores at least 20 times in my life to OTHER places, %26 ONCE to Walmart. My paid RECIEPT even shows a $10 CORE CHARGE. The manager at AV location didnt know HOW to do it on the PC %26 said HIS BOSS is the one that told HIM they "dont do care returns". Maybe someone can look into this?

Walmart definitely does core returns. I am sorry that you dealt with an associate that has not been trained properly for core returns. Please bring it back to the store, or another store if you still encounter issues. It is pretty straight forward for the store. They refund your core fee and take the core battery.

Core deposit issue

I purchased the battery online and picked it up at the store. The purchase went smoothly. When I purchased the battery I was required to pay a $12 Core charge which was to be refunded when i returned the old battery. When I returned the old battery to the store I provided a detailed receipt showing the Core charge. The customer service manager said the core depot did not show up in their system and I had to call Walmart. com to get my core deposit back. When I called Walmart.com the agent said I needed to go to the store to get my core deposit back. No one at Walmart seemed to know how to return my core deposit.
