Verified Purchase

Great battery but can't refund on-line core charge

Great battery but Walmart cannot issue a credit for the core charge when the battery is purchased on-line. If you go into the store and buy a new battery, they will refund the core charge when you give them the old battery. There is no way around this with on-line orders.

Battery purchases placed on dotcom (delivery and curbside) will have core fee refunded with a gift card once battery cores are returned to the store. The store can start the return in the returns tab, use the non-receipted returns flow, and scan (if available) or enter the upc: 19434621915. It would be recommended to return cores from online purchases at a store with an Auto Center, as they are more familiar with the core return process.

Good Battery - Curbside Pickup not good..

The Battery is good. It fits my Husqvarna riding mower. Mower runs again. The shopping experience was not so good . I wanted to pay for the lawnmower battery online so that I would know that it was there when I came to pick it up. But when I paid for it online it got sent to the curbside pickup group. So, I tried to follow the rules for curbside pickup, but my phone app kept telling me to try again. I tried to find a phone number for the curbside people, but I couldn't find the number in the app. There was a chat feature in the app, so, I asked what I should do. The advice it gave was to "call the curbside associate". In the chat I texted that I needed the number. The reply was "go to Customer Service" inside the store. So, I went to Customer Service and they said, that's a different department. We don't interface with them. But they did find someone who could help me out and get someone to take my battery to the pickup place. All in all, an unpleasant experiece.

Just the jolt my mower needed

I should have done this sooner. My battery in JD - D140 mower was almost eight years old. It was missing and would barely work when pushing the reverse while cutting button. The battery needed to be jumped a few times lately and then it finally just died. Installing this fresh battery corrected all the issues. My tractor is running like new again. I always buy this brand and have had great luck with them.
