It's fine. I think what I don't like about the grinder isn't necessarily be the grinder's fault. I live in a humid climate, so I can't leave beans sitting in the hopper (bananas go bad after like three days of counter time), so I use it basically as a single dose grinder for brew coffee. There is an insane amount of retention in every grind. And it isn't consistent. Sometimes it'll be half a gram, sometimes a tenth of a gram, sometimes almost a gram. The beans also popcorn like crazy, so the grind consistency is fine. I have to imagine I'm just going to buy another grinder. I wanted to like this one, and if you leave the hopper filled to the brim with beans and don't really care how much ground coffee you get out of a particular grind, then I'm sure it's fine. It just isn't for me.

Great grinder with a few exceptions. It's messy! Between the grounds cup being too far away and static there is a big mess to clean up everytime I use it. I added a holder which brings the cup up to within an inch of the grounds discharge and it still makes a mess. I wish to buy the grounds catch from the filtro brew but finding that part number for that is impossible. The switch is in a terrible location in the bottom right. I ended up adding a latching push button to the top front left corner and it makes using it a pleasure now. It's quiet, I'll give it that.
