Summer The device works very well for the price!
I tested it up to 1200 degrees, and it was accurate within 2 degrees Fahrenheit the whole time. It includes a 9V battery in the box, which is very convenient, as well as a nice carrying case.

Accurate and Helpful
Overall: This thermometer does an accurate job with measuring temperatures. I have used this for lots of things thus far and it has worked like a charm! The Good: - The plastic on the grip is very nice to the tough. It feels rubberized and allows for a firm grasp. - The power saving feature works very well. After using the thermometer it turns off quite quickly to save power; this is very efficient. - The interface is very user friendly! The buttons are all self explanatory and work well. - The laser is accurate to the temperature sensor. This is obviously dependent on the distance from the object being recorded. - The start-up time on the device is very quick. This is beneficial since the power turns off so rapidly. The Bad: - The plastic is not very tough. I was placing the battery and the plastic broke on the handle. This is a bummer just because it is broken, but without closely inspecting the device it would never be noticed. I am very please with the thermometer and look forward to using it repeatedly in the future. I have used it for the following things: - Measuring the temperature of my aquariums. - Measuring the temperature of places in my lizard tank. - Cooking temperatures. - Random things outside and inside **I received this product free for a honest and unbiased review** I hope this has been helpful!

Great gadget
I was glad the product was arrived just in time for a large family cook out. It was performing as a champ and I was sure that nothing leaving the grill was undercook and then after getting comments from the guest that the chicken was just done perfect !
